Procreate Dreams w/ Alex Grigg

This piece was a fun dive into experimenting with parallax scrolling. By animating the foreground, midground, and background layers separately, I created the illusion of movement around a stationary main object. The illustrations were made in Procreate, and the animation was brought to life in Procreate Dreams.

This piece was an experiment with Procreate Dreams. I started with an illustration made in Procreate, then brought it to life using the Procreate Dreams’ record-by-hand feature, combined with some classic cel animation. Along the way, I got to explore the app’s grouping and editing tools, which turned out to be surprisingly intuitive and fun to play with!
